Dr Tauseef Ahmed

Nephrology unit is led by Dr Tauseef Ahmed who has done his MBBS from Prestigious institute Grant medical College JJ HOSPITAL Mumbai, holding distinction in various subjects. He has passed his DM NEPHROLOGY from Gandhi medical College, Hyderabad, awarded with Dr Prabhakar Sharma Gold Medal in DM nephrology exam, Member of ISN & ISOT.
Dr Tauseef has done more than 5000 hemodialysis in short span of time including SLED, CRRT and plasmapheresis.
Dr Tauseef has made IKON HOSPITAL a key nephrology centre equipped with 5 Hemodialysis machines, one CRRT machine performing round the clock dialysis services to critical ill patients including ICU and ventilator patients. Dr Tauseef is performing various interventional procedures including TCC (Perma-catheter insertion), kidney biopsy, AV fistula plasty and fistulography. Dr Tauseef and intensive care team providing round the clock dialysis services to critically ill patients.
